Rated 4 out of 5 Wonderful pima cotton but too long If you want great pima cotton for the summer, this shirt is perfect. the only problem is I am 5' tall and even the petite is about 2 inches longer than I like. Alas, there doesn't seem to be any tailor in NYC with a surger which is the type of machine needed to shorten cotton jersey so it doesn't pucker. I kept two of the white and one of the black but had to return the other colors only because they are just too long If length isn't a problem, these are terrific. Also customer service is very helpful which is a plus these days. May 15, 2013

I intend to buy several more in other colors. I purchased this tee in white. I only wore it an hour as I went to the garden center and somehow got grease on it and it won't come out! I tried washing it and I will say it washes up great. Pick up several. You won't be disappointed. May 14, 2013

Do these tees have a uniform u-neck?

In the pictures of the different models, the U-necks all fit differently. Does that mean that each color has a different size neck?

This is my pet peeve with almost every website except Nordstrom.I've written repeatedly to Neiman about this but for some reason they won't give the length just low hip or mid-hip--what good is this if you're 5' or 5''7"? They NEVER tell you the exact length. I order petite and I think it's about 25" because it's generally 1-1/2" longer than I like which is 23" Customer service should answer this question

Is this 100% cotton?

I have a J.Jill tee that looks very like the V-neck but has lycra...I really don't like the clingy fit. If all cotton I wear a medium but if lycra I really feel I need a large, so would like to know before I order. thanks.

Our Peruvian Pima Cotton Ballet-Sleeve U-Neck Tee is made from 100% pima cotton. This is made from a finely ribbed cotton material that has lots of natural stretch.

It may help you to know that our Misses’ size Medium (10/12) has a chest measurement of 35 1/2” and a sweep (around the bottom hem) of 38 1/2”. Our Misses’ size Large (14/16) has a chest measurement of 38 1/2” and a sweep of 41 1/2”.

This tee is definitely pure Peruvian cotton and doesn't cling at all. It just falls naturally over your body. And, this type of cotton is very soft and very comfortable to wear. I don't like when lycra is added to tees either and I guarantee that this tee doesn't have any lycra in it. Order it you'll love the fabric and the fit and it's running true to size so I would order a medium in your case.

I think it's true to size unless you have a large bust. I would be a L but because I have a really large bust I need to get XL. If you're worried and really want a looser fit , just go up a size and the fit will be perfect.
