Rated 5 out of 5 by GwenS Love these cords
I bought these cords in black and green, and love them both. I am slightly too tall for petites, and regular is just a bit long. I bought regular, and the pants are fine with a bit of hemming. I am a curvy girl, and there is enough room, and enough stretch, for a comfy fit. I also got them on a great sale, so the price was fine.

First: WARNING! WARNING! These run very small. Size up, friends! Loss of one star for sizing.
That said, these are super-soft, super-fine wale cords. And they look great on, with pockets landing in the right places and all that. The boot cut is a refreshing change from all of the skinny pants lately, too. They have a nice polish to them that makes them good for work as well as casual times.
Recently, I stocked up on these (two for me, one for a niece), thinking I was taking advantage of an outlandish deal: they were listed for one cent with free shipping. I know, I know, it it sounds too good to be true... but I received email confirmation at that price! However, the next day when I checked my order on the website, none of it was true. Not even the free shipping. And it was too late to cancel my order. Thankfully, the pants were so great that I kept them at the decent actual sale price, in spite of being offered free return shipping.
There are few items of clothing I like so much I have to have a back-up, just in case. This is one of them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SuzWithNews Great product, runs small this year.
I love these cords so much I decided to order them again. I am 5' 9" and weigh about 127 lbs, both slim and tall. I previously ordered several pair in size 4 a little over a year ago. I am still wearing them and they have held up well. However, when I ordered them in size 4 this year they were smaller. Now I am returning them and have size 6 coming in their place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ocrags comfy cords !!!!
Have them on right now. Fits true to size, just little long. I'm about 5 feet 1 inches tall and ordered a size 6 pet. I wear with boot with heals and length is good. Not a lot of color choices on sale or I would order more colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by spr01nk If I could, I would have a pair in every color for every day of the week
I have to say I've become something of a fangirl of this company after my first really harsh winter in the northeast. I am tall with a peasant-esque hourglass figure which is a death knell for buying budget-friendly trousers pretty much anywhere in the world. A solid 14-16 (18 UK) depending on the brand, I chose these because my jeans have worn out after a long winter and I needed another pair of trousers to stay warm while doing work in the barn.
I noticed immediately that the cords in the fabric were very fine and soft with the color a deep blood red. I tried them on and they fit very well on my hips and were the right length. They ride just below my belly button and I can tell I won't need to hitch them up with a belt (which is the unattractive norm in my life). When checking in the full-length mirror (which I dread), I was very pleased indeed. While I can't afford the full price jeans or other colors, I am thrilled that I will actually be wearing these cords to work and "to town" rather than the barn.
If you have a more generous budget than a graduate student and can relate to the tall-curvy trouser conundrum, I encourage you to try this style of JJIll trouser. When I get a real job, I will fill my closet with them. :)

Rated 2 out of 5 by celtgal Runs small and long
The cords are a nice quality, but the petite size 16 is much smaller than the regular size 16 in the width, but the pants were still too long.
