tall or not?

I'm 5'9" and usually order tall in jjill shirts ...but I'm concerned about the v-neck: is the v-neckline lower (is the neckline elongated) in the "tall" sizing of this shirt, or is the tall just longer in below bust length?

After comparing the depth of the V-Neckline on the Misses and the Tall size of the Banded V-Neck Tunic, we have found that the neckline is not cut lower on the Tall size.

For me as a petite the neckline isn't low pretty much the way it looks in the picture and since it is not overly loose fit if you lean over or down nothing shows. Hope that helps

Is length the same on Misses L & Womens 1X?

I'm pretty sure I can wear either Misses L or Women's 1X...but I'd like the most length possible...now that the Talls are sold out in Champagne, I need to know which size (L or 1X) has greater length?

For our Banded V-Neck Tunic the length measurement is 31 1/4" in both the Misses L (14/16) and the Women’s 1X (14w/16w).

My advice would be the 1X, which I also buy for the extras, like the length, extra material, etc...then I have a seamstress alter it to fit my body. Almost every JJill item I've purchased goes straight to my seamstress!
