It is lightweight, soft and not clingy...perfect for the hot and humid weather of our summers in Massachusetts. My only complaint is that the back neck area tends to roll backwards after washing, even though I took the tops out of the dryer while still damp. Thus, I only gave the top 4 stars instead of 5. How long is this top?

The lengths of our tops vary depending on size. In the Misses sizes, our Easy A-Line Tank has a length measurement range of 24 3/8” in XS (2/4) to 26 7/8” in XL (18/20). In the Petite sizes, our Easy A-Line Tank has a length measurement range of 22 7/8” in XSP (2p/4p) to 25 3/8” in XLP (18p/20p).

I measured it flat, it was 26.5 inches from top of shoulder to hem. I am petite (5'2") but I ordered the Misses XL because I want the extra length to compensate for being full-figured. So on me, it falls mid-hip like the photo.

I have the XS in the misses. The measurement is 24 1/2 inches from shoulder to bottom. I haven't washed it yet, but I will hang to dry so as not to lose any length. I'm a slender 5 feet 7 inches with a long torso and small chest. I hope that helps:)

I do not have a measurement currently, but I am 5'4" and it comes just below my crotch, I hope it's ok to say that. Don't know how else to describe where it hits. Just below the tops of my thighs, It covers the whole torso down to about 2" below my crotch.

Measuring the back the petite medium is 24 1/2 inches from the the shoulder seam to the bottom edge. I always order the petite size since I am 5' 1" tall. I found this top not to be too long, which most of the JJill tops are. I don't particularly like long tops on my short body.

I have lost 3 inches of height....all in my trunk. I have found that petite is the perfect length for me. I am very satisfied with this top. I would recommend you order petite if you are short waisted.

yes. it fit so nice in the store but after laundering it, it is so tight and looks awful. The back seam along the neckline rolls outward and doesn't lay flat.

I have been shopping at JJill for about 8 years, and I never, never, ever, put my tops in the dryer! I wash everything on cold, then hang them to dry on a Huggable hanger so there are no shoulder bumps. The one and only time I put a top in the dryer was to purposely make it smaller since it was too big when I got it, and it shrank down perfectly. My jeans have gone in the dryer, since they are usually a tad long on my 5'3" body, and Petites are too short. But my beautiful JJill tops NEVER go in the dryer. When I dry long sleeve tees I fold the sleeves up over the shoulders so they don't stretch and become too long. Regardless of the care instructions, HANG your tops to dry!!

I haven't had a problem so far, BUT I've never read the care instructions for this tank. I always wash in cold, toss into the dryer on low for 2-3 minutes and hang to air dry.

Why does the easy A-line tank look 3 or 4 inches longer in the picture of the blonde model? Is the length of this item the longer length pictured ?

I am trying to understand why the pictures of the easy A-line tank show two different lengths. I want to order this item but only if it is the longer length pictured with the blonde model.

Probably the models were different heights. The tank is quite long. I'm 5'5 1/2", and the tank hits my thigh. Runs about a size large, at least in the women's sizing.

I am 5'7" and it fits me the way it fits on the dark-haired model. I don't dry this stuff, but I imagine it would shrink, as most things do in length. Unless you want them to, that is.

I like the longer length than most tanks offer, although the picture looks a little longer than what it actually is. If you normally wear a medium , it may be wise to get a small.

Which size should I buy?

My question is similar to the one about shrinking.

The small fits perfectly. The medium is too big. But if this is going to shrink, the small will be too short and too tight.

I love the length and the generous lines and the soft, light fabric of this top. Just not sure which size to buy!

I don't think your going to have a problem with shrinking, I wash in cold, toss into the dryer for 2-3 minutes on low and finish by hanging to air dry. Never had a problem.

I bought the size on the high end or normal for me. That worked great. It didn't shrink but I was careful to wash in cold water and cry in a cool dryer or on a hanger.
Would prefer something that I could wash on warm but haven't tried it on this.
