I had to return this. The upper arms were a little too tight. My arms are larger and the sleeve just didn't hang right. I probably could have kept the top and tolerated it but the velour makes the problem more noticeable. The rest of the garment is loose fitting so the tightness in the upper arms is odd. Gals with thin arms probably won't notice this problem. I haven't run into this tight upper arms in any other J Jill clothing.

I bought this top with the matching pants. The top fits well except for the neck which is too close to my neck for my comfort. Others might not have this problem.
The pants fit runs a little smaller for some reason.
When I wore this outfit, I received several compliments. It looks very well on.

A comfortable top with slightly odd sizing: petite doesn't usually fit me well, as I'm long-waisted and 5'5", but in this top, the regular XS was too long (sleeves and bodice), so I ended up taking the petite S, which works. I got it in the caper because the chocolate was unavailable in my size and because the caper looked so pretty on the website -- but the actual product isn't nearly as vibrant.

The arm from the armhole to the elbow has been altered by the manufacturer, leaving the bottom half of the sleeve loose and shapeless. The area where it was altered made the upper arm sleeve biting tight.

This is a beautiful top, drapes beautifully, and so soft! And the chocolate brown color is just right. (I much prefer it to the shale color that's so common in j.jill clothes.)
If the green were still available in my size I'd definitely buy it too!
