Rated 5 out of 5 by Loving this jacket! Finally! A jacket cut in a proportion I can use! Trim, not bulky in a very interesting pattern. Nice to find a "vintage" design, only made today. The on seam pockets are a real plus! May 15, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful Jacket This jacket is so much prettier than it appears online. It has golden tones and can go dressy or more casual very easily. Love the fit. Be aware that it is not lined though. December 8, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Absolutely wonderful! Great length, great feel, great colors, great material. Have had so, so many compliments. December 2, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Returned Very pretty and unusual fabric. I returned it because I didn't think I would wear it. Too light for warmth but too heavy for indoors. November 27, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by While beautiful to look at.. The inside of the jacket leaves lint and fuzz on clothing worn underneath including down the leg of pants. It is better served with some type of lining. November 18, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by too flimsy This "topper" is poorly constructed with material that showed wear after one wearing. The facings are narrow and flipped casing the front not to lay flat, I had to stitch them down. The pockets weren't attached either causing it to flare at the hips, not attractive! November 14, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Beautiful to look at but should have been lined to last I fell in love with this jacket at first sight. I am an artist and the pattern resembles my work. My friends agree that it suits me to a tee. I have always appreciated the quality and long life of clothing from J.Jill. This fabric is loosely knit in places and very light weight .It requires a lining for support and to safeguard snagging or puncturing the fabric when wearing. The raw backing leaves acrylic lint on the clothing it is worn over and has already started "pilling" up on the sleeves from just two wearings. I will eventually have a lining added and kept it because of my love of the pattern. I do not feel it is up to the usual J.Jill standard and was quite disappointed by this, as in this economy I do not splurge very often. Sorry to turn in a lackluster review for something I was so looking forward to... November 4, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by A little too loose and raw Bought this as soon as it came out with the intention of wearing it at Thanksgiving. Every time I'd try it on and take a look, it never looked as good as I wanted, esp. for the price. I ended up returning it. The fit is just a little too loose and baggy. While the outside of it is very pretty and I love the colors, the inside is not lined, making it look like an upholstery remnant. Also, I tried it on over the slub shirt (as shown in photo) and the coat shed like crazy. If it were lined and fitted more in the waist, I might have felt the price was worth it and kept it.
