Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent I love this sweater! The size is perfect, colors beautiful, comfortable winter weight. October 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazingly soft! I love the Fair Isle look but most of the time these types of sweaters are just harsh to wear, until now. Oh my!! This sweater is so incredibly soft and supple, I'll be wearing it all winter! I received this in August but really did not want to take it off! I'm larger busted too and my size fit perfectly, no pulling through the chest and shoulders. Color is wonderful, not too forest green that it cant be worn into early spring. August 31, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Soft and Warm This sweater is fabulous! It is so soft, does not itch and fits well around the neck. It is light enough to wear under coats and jackets. August 29, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by runs large; fabric is great This sweater is really nice and the fabric is wonderful--VERY soft wool, would be really warm on a cold day. I'm returning it because the fit wasn't quite right for me. My regular size is a 10P, and a JJill MP usually fits well or if anything is a bit loose, depending on the item. For a pullover sweater tunic like this, though, I usually order an LP because I'm a bit top heavy, I like to layer with turtlenecks, etc., and I like a somewhat loose fit with this type of item. An LP in this sweater was way too big though, especially through the arms, back, shoulders etc. I'll probably exchange for a smaller size. The softness of the fabric is really nice, though July 23, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Too much. Just: too much. At least for me. For details, see below. The first JJill product I've disliked and returned. (I became a customer only last month.) Colour: too loud. I love green, and it's a fairly rare offering; a "nice" green is even rarer, and I really liked the colour in the photos. When I tried it on, however, it was much too loud—a blaring horn, not a clear bell. That may be because it turned out to be a "cold" green (heading towards blue) and not a "warm" green (heading towards yellow). This is important because the neck sits very close to your face, even if you roll it over. Now, I suffer from the most boring combination ever: I'm a fair-skinned, brown-eyed brunette, or was before my hair started turning grey. On the other hand, my skin has a warm tone. (This fact came to my attention only a year ago, not long before my 55th birthday. Oh boy. I finally understood why all those pink blushers and lipsticks I kept on buying always looked so awful on me.) Anyway, this colour would probably look great on someone with darker hair and skin, or on a very light-skinned blonde—but only if her skin is cool-toned. I would have tried to exchange the sweater for one in beige, except... Fit: too large. I bought small, but a second me could have got in there as well. OK, that's an exaggeration, but it really was too baggy at the back for me. It would look terrific on a skinny girl. Make her look all waif-like. Material: I didn't really like the material, either. It was soft, but felt, somehow, artificial, almost sticky. I am, however, very, very picky, in what I know is an irrational sort of way, about materials. You may love it. Sorry, JJill. Didn't work for me. July 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by LOVE THIS! This is my favorite sweater. Started with the black one and went right back and bought the 2 other colors. Soft, warm and roomy. Nice, close drape over front mid-section trouble spot....skims over hips and not too bulky considering its "winter" styling. I love the loose neck. Not itchy. Haven't laundered yet, but will do so with great care. Will go so well with jeans. I'm 5'5"135 and size Small is perfect with a little room for moving. Love it. May 13, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice and Soft I had my eye on this for a while but the problem I had was that I wear sweaters with black pants and the two color combinations with black in them were a bit too strong for this pale silver-blonde. So I bought the mushroom color and matching gloves, and after scrutinizing them with black pants, yep they needed a touch of black to look best on me. Being an artist/designer and also knitting designer I simply took very thin black wool and embroidered my own black stitches over a circle of the small brown dots and voila! Just enough matching punch to go with my black pants. I find JJill always inspires my imagination - for instance their colored tanks go perfectly with my Foxcroft colored overshirts. Go JJill!
