Got the delave jacket earlier to go with white slacks. I wear capris a lot though, and thought this would make a nice outfit. It really does. They are great alone, but dress up with the jacket. I prefer navy over black for basics. (Dark gray would be nice too). I sew, so I understand the tacking and darts, so they look more fitted than like a gathered sweat pant. It works for me. If it rolls for some people, they can tack it more often, but I thought it was great. Also like the slimmer leg!

I was surprised at the stiffness and weight of the fabric, so much so that I didn't think they would work for me. But then I unfolded them and held them up to the light and could see they were not as dense as I thought. I washed them and let them air dry and the hand feel was much better. They remained true to size. I'm happy with the color as the dark navy masks the wrinkles you inevitably get when you wear linen. I'm looking forward to wearing them for spring.

Easy to wear. Provides comfort with style. Looks great with the matching open front jacket or with other color coordinating J. Jill pieces. Great relaxed fit.

These pants are heavy, wide and unflattering. I will be returning them.

Sending these back for 2 reasons: the "slim" legs were wider than the photo online and the fabric was heavier and more casual looking than traditional linen.
I've recently lost weight and am down to 150 lbs. at 5'7". The last thing I want is baggy looking pants.

I ordered the misses large instead of the petite and that turned out to be a wise choice because of the slimmer leg.

I don't understand why the elastic waistband of the pants isn't sewn closed. It's really cheap construction and the pants aren't inexpensive. I'm keeping them because they were on sale and I don't want to pay to send them back. I had a pair of these a few years ago and the quality was better.
