Rated 3 out of 5 by PhylRB Nice, heavy fabric in these leggings, but...
The wide elastic waistband had to go. I'm short and big in the middle. The waistband just folded over and gave up the fight. It's being altered to remove the waistband and add a thin elastic band. Other than that problem, the leggings are fine.

Rated 2 out of 5 by catmum odd fit
I didn't like these, but in fairness I tend not to like unnecessary zips, etc. (they were down to $12 and I needed leggings, so I thought I'd try them) The fabric felt very polyestery, like the pants my mom used to wear in the 70s (it's actually rayon, nylon, and spandex), and they were a bit short and wide for my 5'6 frame. I thought the zips looked a bit silly and made the pants not fit as well, but, again, extraneous zips aren't my thing. I think they'd be okay on a different person. I'm between sizes and tend to order the larger one because I like loose clothing, but this was a mistake in this case.

Rated 2 out of 5 by shk1 baggy by the end of the day
I initially loved how these fit, looked, and felt. The espresso color was great and the zippers at the bottom very cool. But by the end of the day, they were ridiculously baggy and incredibly unflattering. Really bummed because they were exactly what I was looking for.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Saulty Buy the black, skip the brown
My sister wrote a review of these leggings recently and raved me into buying some. Trouble was, she ordered them in black. I ordered brown.
As soon as I touched the fabric as I pulled them from their plastic bag, I wondered what went wrong. They felt like pants from the golden age of horrible polyester: it was like touching a leisure suit on Fantasy Island. Still, I tried them on and they looked and felt awful. Super tight through the calves and baggy upward from there. I couldn't fold them neatly and place them back in the bag fast enough.
Soon afterward, my sister received her brown ones, then the green ones, in the mail. And she concurs: different fabric. She's still thrilled with the quality of the black ones she purchased first and has sent the other colors back.
These were not the ponte I know and love from JJ. It's as if the brown ones were knockoffs of the black ones. Strange how quality can vary by color. The black ones are a steal at the sale price. The colors may work for you, especially at this price!

This legging has flair. It's the zipper and substantial fabric. Looks great. The wide waistband offered comfort and a smooth mid section.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Poomaa Great fabric and sizing
These are nicer than the typical leggings. The fabric is substantial and the fit is perfect. Fit is more like a slim leg pant. The zip detail at the ankle gives it pizzazz. This will be my go to leggings.

Please bring these back. They are the perfect thickness and hold up so well. Much nicer than thin leggings.

Rated 1 out of 5 by gidgnkvg Disappointingly short
I ordered these in both olive and in brown. My leg length is midway between regular and tall, and size midway between medium and large. I ordered the leggings in Large Tall so they wouldn't be so tight as to ride up my legs. When the leggings arrived I saw that both colors were rich and the fabric a nice heavyweight. Looked like a winner 'til I tried them on. The top portion on both pair was huge and baggy. The legs on the brown pair were decidedly too short and on the olive pair were worse, only midcalf-length. I doublechecked and both pair were labeded as Large Tall. What strange proportions! I'll be returning both pair.
